Mr. Haskins joined the firm in 2000 after having practiced primarily tax, estate planning, and business law for 20 years. Tom has served as counsel for clients in administrative proceedings before the Internal Revenue Service and the National Labor Relations Board. Mr. Haskins has litigated commercial cases in state and federal courts in four states and the District of Columbia. He now focuses his practice on estate planning and elder law.
He is active in organizations providing assistance to persons with disabilities and currently is a Trustee of the Henrico Area Special Needs Trust. Tom has also served on the Board of Directors of non-profit corporations that develop and provide residential housing opportunities for the mentally disabled.
Tom earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State University and his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law.
